Kibrom’s Restaurant, owned by Kibrom Milash and his wife Tirhas Hailu, features Eritrean and Ethiopian cuisine. Delicious dishes feature vegetables and spicy meats, usually in the form of a stew, served with injera, a sourdough flatbread made from teff that’s almost like a crepe. Kibrom’s Restaurant will serve injera wraps for breakfast, and traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean dishes for eat-in and take-out/delivery at lunch and dinner, and for catering of special events.

Kibrom and Tirhas and their children are originally from Eritrea. They became refugees in 2008 and moved to Ethiopia to live in a refugee camp. For five years, they started and ran a successful restaurant and cafe in a refugee camp in Ethiopia. The family moved to Boise, Idaho from Ethiopia in 2013 and immediately began working on starting their business here. They are excited to bring their unique cuisine to the Treasure Valley and to teach people about Ethiopian and Eritrean food and culture.
