Loba African Fashion and Fresh Produce, owned by Abdul Mukomwa and Kutukira Mberwa, offers handmade clothing, fabrics, shoes and accesories from eastern and western Africa. They also offer fresh organic produce grown by them locally on their urban farm in Eagle. Their farm is also a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm. Customers can buy a share of their CSA and pick-up a weekly basket of fresh seasonal produce at the Boise International Market.
Abdulwahabu ‘Musa’ Mukomwa and Kutukira Mberwa were both born in Somalia. Abdul was raised in Tanzania and Kutukira was raised in Kenya. Abdul moved to Boise from Tanzania in 2004 and Kutukira moved first to Tuscon, Arizona in 2004 and then to Boise in 2011.
